CM Mission

Mission Statement :

The mission of Children's Ministries is to partner with families in reaching kids and guiding them toward becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Children's Ministries will:

  • Lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Mentor children to develop their spiritual gifts.

  • Teach children to personally participate in God's Kingdom.

  • Train children to evangelize through servanthood.

Purpose and Philosophy:

  • To reach the unchurched children of the Portland Metropolitan Area, making them fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, so they can make a difference in our world.

  • To establish our programs as more than just fun times for kids, but places of spiritual development where they know they belong and are accepted with love and care.

  • To launch out 6th graders with the knowledge and understanding of God's purpose, not just for themselves, but for the church community, too.
