Alpha
Alpha is a practical introduction to the Christian faith and is for anyone who wants answers to life’s biggest questions.  We will meet in the Fireside Room (404) 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning March 17.   Would you like to help with this new ministry?  Or maybe you would like to attend and get answers to your questions?  Either way, please
contact Gaurav Emmanuel at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  More details are available at this link.  Please pray for this ministry and those whom you might invite to attend!

Hymn Sing
Join us Saturday, March 13, at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of praise and fellowship!  We’d love to have over 1,000 voices fill the sanctuary for a service that will include many hymns and gospel songs, choir specials, hymn-stories, special music, and even some song requests!  Everyone is welcome to participate in a mass choir, as well.  Just show up early at 5:45 for a rehearsal!  If you are interested in helping as a leader or have a music special that might be considered, please contact Ken Wolfgang at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Announcing a Retirement
It is bittersweet for our church staff that after 21 years of faithful service, Barbara McCoy has announced that she will be retiring her position as Administrative Assistant at the end of May.  Barb’s gifting and passion for sharing God’s love with all who walk through our office doors have been so inspiring, but we celebrate with her as she transitions into the next phase of her journey, which will enable her to spend lots of time with her husband, kids, and grandkids!  In response to this news, we are blessed to also announce that Karen Hassman has agreed to join our support staff to take over Barb’s responsibilities.  We will be announcing in the weeks ahead the date and time of a reception to honor Barb and shower her with appreciation and wishes for a fabulous retirement!

Easter "Eggs"travaganza
Saturday, April 3, 1:00-3:00 p.m.  We need your help to keep this event free of charge.  We will need plenty of volunteers on the day of the event (more details to come!) as well as donations ahead of time.  Donations we need:  tons and tons and tons of individually wrapped candies, plastic eggs filled with candy, monetary donations to offset the cost of an inflatable & large prizes. Monetary donations should be clearly marked “Easter Egg Hunt” and submitted to the church office.  Candy and eggs may be delivered to the Children’s Ministries office.

Cross Encounter
Experience Cross Encounter: A Path of Reflection during Holy Week 2010.  Cross Encounter is a directed prayer experience for teens through senior adults (and it is handicap friendly).  The path will be set up in the gym and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Sessions will be available at various times March 28-April 1.  Childcare will be provided on March 29 and 31 only; please register for childcare by emailing Pastor Shawna Rench before attending.  Times and more details are available online at this link.

March 28 - No Kid City
April 4 - Kid City (Easter)
April 11 - Kid City

We Need Your Help!
Come help us paint the nurseries!  We are working on the detail painting and need people who can paint between the lines.  We would love extra hands to finish this fun project.  Join us every Tuesday anytime between 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Please contact Pastor Jesse for more details.  Thanks!

STUDENT MINISTRIES

Schedule Change
Epicenter will now be held on Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:00 in the Student Center.  All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join us!  In order to meet the needs of our group, we are still in need of male leadership to lead our Junior High Boys in their Discipleship Small Group. Please contact Pastor Aimee if you are interested in serving through this ministry!

Socks, Scarves, & Gloves
We are still collecting socks, scarves, and gloves to give to homeless persons March 21.  Collection bins are located at the Information Center and in the Level 2 lobby.  A very BIG thank you to everyone who has already donated!
