Well, you have found our web page! We hope that you take some time to check out the pics and see what we are all about. I have been the Pastor to Students at Portland First for the past four-and-a-half years. It is my great privilage to have a chance to hang out with teenagers, and see how God is at work in their lives. I believe with my whole heart that you can influence your culture for Christ, and in so doing define history!
Alexander Hamilton once said, "Those who stand for nothing fall for anything." I welcome you to come join us and find out what we stand for. If you would like to contact me directly, please send me an e-mail at joela@pfcn.orgThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it // --> .

Washing feet, cutting hair, hair washing, clothing distribution, great food, great dialogue, and a whole lot more happen under the Burnside Bridge in the downtown part of Portland every Friday night. Why do we do what we do-"We are just loving on Portland the way we think Christ would have if He were here in person with us today."
We will leave the church at 6:30pm and will return to the church for pick up at 9:30pm.
Check their website. |

After church, we're going to the Willamette River for a BBQ, tubing, water skiing, and tons of fun! We will be at the home of the Andersons'. Please RSVP to Joel no later than Sept. 10th so we have an accurate count for food.
Bring a friend and go for FREE, or if not, the cost is $5 per person. We'll return to the church by 6:00 p.m. Bring your swimming gear, a towel, and a change of clothes.
Please ask your friends to bring a completed medical release form (pfcn.org/youth/downloads) and everyone needs to have turned in a completed permission to attend event form. |

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15am in the Student Center as we are on a "Gospel Journey" in the Cross Conn-x-tion class.

See You At The Pole Rally |

SYATP connects believers together at the beginning of the school year, so you can stand strong together throughout the year.
See You at the Pole™ is all about prayer. It's about you coming together and laying aside all the labels and groups for one day, to simply connect with God in prayer and connect with fellow Christians in unity around the flag pole—whether jocks, preps, geeks, Methodists, Baptists, Catholics, sophomores, or seniors.
So are you ready to connect? Are you ready to say, Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening?
Join your generation Wednesday, September 24, at 7 a.m., GATHER at your school flagpole. PRAY for your school, friends, families, and world. CONNECT. Listen as He speaks to you.
SEE YOU AT THE POLE! |
