Finding Out What Pleases God Ephesians 5:1-20 “There are two things to do about the Gospel--believe it and behave it.” — Susanna Wesley “Find out what pleases the Lord.” Ephesians 5:10 NIV What pleases the Lord? 1. “Follow God’s example in everything you do…” Ephesians 5:1 NLT “Be imitators of God.” Ephesians 5:1 NIV 2. “Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you.” Ephesians 5:3 Lust is simply a perversion of love. 3. “Live as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8 4. “Be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.” Ephesians 5:15 A. Wise people make the most of their time. Verse 16 B. “Try to understand what the Lord wants you to do.” Verse 17 C. “Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life.
