Since its earliest days, PFCN has put the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19
, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit...” as one of its main goals. Another scripture, Mark 16:15, instructs us to: “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone everywhere.” The following is a list of some of the various Missions Programs used to fulfill this great commission. Alabaster - Bi-annual offering for mission buildings and construction sites. Easter Offering - Special offering for the World Evangelism Fund. Faith Promise - A means of pledging a weekly, monthly or one-time sum for the World Evangelism Fund. Harvest Partnership - A branch of the Nazarene Missions Department connected with Campus Crusade for Christ’s Jesus Film Project. Holiness Today - Our bi-monthly magazine. LINKS - Loving Interested Nazarenes Knowing Sharing. LUIS PALAU - Luis Palau Association Memorial Roll - Money given in honor of a deceased person and used for the health care of our missionary families.
Mission Corps - Formerly Nazarenes in Volunteer Service Nazarene Compassionate Ministries - Responding to the physical needs of those receiving the gospel message. Nazarene Education Services - Scholarships to prepare nationals for the ministry.
Reach One Travel - Travel agency for the purpose of supporting Nazarene mission efforts in both Work and Witness teams and the Jesus Film Partnership.
Reading Books - Each year the General Church publishes six missionary books for adults and children.
Thanksgiving Offering - Special missions offering.
Work & Witness - Volunteer teams constructing buildings and ministering to people during two to three week trips.
World Evangelism Broadcasting - The medium used to send the gospel message over the airways.
World Evangelism Fund - The general fund of the Nazarene Church used to support the overall missions program. |
